We are now offering support to Wheeler County residents interested in becoming tobacco free!
After consulting with Wheeler County Public Health staff, confidentially, or with your Asher Community Health Provider, you can receive 2 weeks of Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) for free. NRT options offered in the form of nicotine patches and gum or lozenges. After 2 weeks, there will be a follow-up on your quit attempt and treatments will be re-evaluated.
By calling 1-800-QUIT-NOW, you can be connected to additional free resources to help quit tobacco. With this resource, you can get individual counseling and help with alternate coping mechanisms.
